How can I pay for my order?
We accept Visa®, MasterCard®, and American Express® for online orders. Payment by cash or cheque must be made in person at Mount Sinai Hospital Auxiliary office 600 University Avenue Room 208 Toronto, Ontario.
 
 
What is ShopSinai?
ShopSinai is a way for friends and family to show their loved ones how much they care and at the same time, support a worthy cause. Whether you are purchasing the item as a gift to celebrate an occasion, or to provide cheer to a patient for a speedy recovery, ShopSinai provides a simple and meaningful solution. A portion of the proceeds from ShopSinai support the Auxiliary’s $2.0 million Advancing e-Meds pledge.
 
 
How is the order being processed?
Orders received prior to 4:00 pm will be processed and delivered within the hospital on the same day. Orders received after 4:00 pm will be processed and delivered within the hospital on the next business day. Normal delivery hours within the hospital are Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Online orders placed on Saturday, Sunday or holidays will be delivered the next business day.
 
If a patient has been discharged before the order has been processed, the purchaser will be notified either by email or phone for further delivery instructions.
 
If we are unable to locate the patient you will be notified either by phone or email.
 
You can order gifts by telephone or for all other inquiries please call our office at 416-586-8290. Office hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
 
   
What is a ShopSinai retail partner?
Our partners are businesses and entrepreneurs who generously support Mount Sinai Hospital by donating a percentage of their sales proceeds. All donated proceeds will go to funding the highest priorities for the hospital. All our retail partners have direct links from

When will I be charged for my order?
Your credit card will be charged when your order is processed and the charge will be posted to your account 1-2 business days after you placed the order.
 
 
Is it safe to make purchases using my credit card?
Mount Sinai Hospital has provided the opportunity to use PayPal for online payments. As an entity independent of Mount Sinai Hospital, PayPal has a reputation for safely collecting payments using your credit card details or a PayPal account. Mount Sinai Hospital does not have access to, or use of, your credit card or Paypal account details.

Will I get a confirmation that my order has been received?
Yes, you will receive an email confirmation immediately after placing an order.
 
 
How will I be charged for shipping? When will I receive my package?
The Mount Sinai Hospital Auxiliary provides free shipping within the Hospital only. The Mount Sinai Hospital Auxiliary uses a third party delivery company to deliver your purchases and delivery times may vary depending on the proximity of the location to the city of Toronto.

Our shipping rate is based on your postal code district and weight of the package for calculating shipping. We send out order within 24 hours. You should expect to receive your package within 3-5 business days after ordering, subject to the shipping address provided.
 
 
Can I track my package?
You will receive an email from us when your package has been shipped out. You can contact the Auxiliary office at 416-586-8290 for your shipping status. If your purchase was made through one of our retail partners, please refer to their websites with respect to their shipping policies and tracking.
  
 
Do I get a tax receipt with my purchase?
According to Canada Revenue Agency guidelines, the purchase of merchandise does not qualify as “gift” to a charity and therefore, it cannot be tax receipted.
